Fall Crafts at Lyndhurst, is a fund raiser for the National Trust for Historic Preservation. It returns to the 67 acre Lyndhurst Estate in Tarrytown, New York, displaying contemporary work from more than 275 artists and craftspeople from across the country. Collectors, art enthusiasts and discerning shoppers will enjoy the rare opportunity to meet these visionary artists and purchase their latest work. The show includes one-of-a-kind and limited edition jewelry, fashion and accessories, furniture, and home décor pieces, as well as functional and sculptural work in ceramics, glass, metal, painting, photography, wood and mixed media. Despite it’s name, the fair offers more than just crafts. Visitors can also purchase specialty foods, participate in children’s activities, and enjoy live music all throughout the weekend.
Directions: Lyndhurst is located in Westchester County, New York, on the eastern shore of the Hudson River about 1/2 mile south of the Tappan Zee Bridge toll plaza. It is on Route 9 in Tarrytown, New York (635 South Broadway). Lyndhurst is also accessible on Metro North via the Hudson Line to Tarrytown.
